The collar pictures is a 1.5 inch width unless otherwise specified. Please keep this in mind when ordering larger prints in smaller sizes. The collar you order may not show images as well as the wider collar pictured.
Collars are made from polypropylene webbing for strength and are wrapped in a variety of fun and funky fabric to help your dog stand out!
All regular (non-martingale) collars come with black plastic hardware but upgrades are available for add on purchase. Go to the add ons section to find the hardware upgrade listing. Martingales have metal slides but no buckle.
REGULAR COLLARS
***The sizing below is for regular, non-martingale collars:***
The information below is a guide for sizing your dog to get the best collar fit. Sizes vary slightly between the regular collars and the martingale option.
XS collars: 7- 9 inch neck size with a 5/8 in width. Best fit for a puppy, Chihuahua or dog of similar size
S collars: 10-12 inch neck size with 5/8 in or 1 in width. Best fit for a small terrier, pug or dog of similar size
M collars: 13- 16 inch neck size with 1 or 1.5 in width. Best fit for a beagle, corgi, terrier or a dog of a similar size
L collars: 17- 20 inch neck size with a 1, 1.5 or 2 in width. Best fit for a lab, boxer, or a dog of similar neck size
XL collars: 21- 24 inch neck size with a 1, 1.5 or 2 in width. Best fit for shepherd, dane, or a dog of similar size
XXL collar: Fit 25 in + neck size and available upon request.
MARTINGALE COLLARS
***The information and sizing below is for martingale/slip collars***
WHAT IS A MARTINGALE COLLAR: Martingale Collars are different than other dog collars! A martingale collar is made of two loops. The large loop slides over your dog's head and can be adjusted using the triglide slide. The smaller loop is the portion that attaches to your dog's leash. If your dog pulls while wearing the collar, the smaller loop will pull and cause the larger loop to become more snug around your dog's neck. This is very helpful for dog breeds with little difference in size between their neck and head. Greyhounds are a great example of a breed that does well with a martingale collar. The collars can be used for any breed and are a much nicer, softer alternative to a regular "choke" collar or chain.
HOW TO ORDER: Please select the size your dog needs (information on sizing is below). You can choose up to two fabric options for martingales. If you choose two, please let me know which print you'd like for each loop. You can select any fabric in my shop so have fun!
The smallest width martingale collar I will make is 1 inch. Anything smaller will cause too much pressure on your dog's neck and, personally, I don't think it safe. You have the option of ordering my regular collar sizes in 5/8 inch, 1 inch, 1.5 inch and 2 inch widths.
Please keep in mind, with the added small loop the collars will be a bit bigger when you receive them but they are adjustable with the triglide.
SIZING:
XS collars: Fit 9-12 inch neck size
S collars: Fit 11 inch to 14 inch neck size
M collars: Fit 14 inch to 18 inch neck size
L collars: Fit 17 inch to 22 inch neck size
XL collars: Fit 21 inch to 26 inch neck size
XXL collar: Fit 25 in + neck size and available upon request.
