Purple Leash Project

Purina has partnered with this project to help support victims of DV and their pets.


Here is their mission statement:


“Currently, only 19 percent of domestic violence shelters accept pets. Through the Purple Leash Project, we’re helping to create more pet-friendly shelters. We’re committing not just funds, but also our hearts and hands, working on-site to renovate shelters so they can welcome pets. Purina team members are committing their time and energy to help break down the barriers, transforming shelters so survivors and pets can escape, and stay, together.”


Worrying about leaving your pet behind is the last thing anyone should have to do in that situation. As many of you know I created this brand to celebrate how dogs support us and carry us though incredibly difficult times. I know I wouldn’t have gotten through the hardest time in my life without Soter and Bubba.

I will be keeping the purple products in a specific collection for as long as HBTH is in business. 25% of all purple purchases will be donated directly to the project in hopes of helping keep these survivors and their pets together in such a difficult time.
